 This weeks technology advancement is an abortion pill. Healthcare providers are teaming with tele-health to create a pill that can be taken at home to carry out an abortion. This pill will be prescribed, and only given to those in need. This is very surprising to me.  This week I researched Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality.   VR immerses the user in an environment while AR enhances their environment.   A new technology advancement i researched was 4D printing. 4D printing is when a 3D printed object transforms itself into another structure through a form of energy. The article states "   4D Printing technology uses programmable and advanced materials that perform a different functionality by adding hot water, light or heat" (Sculpteo).  Self-supervised learning is the new technology i researched. This uses an automated approach to annotating and labeling data. This will have a significant impact on the current market and their products. My initial reaction to this story is I am very surprised that he got fired over the shooting comment. I understand that some opinions are tough to talk about and are better if not said at all, but I do not think his opinion crossed any lines to where he should get fired.  The reason the employer provided was because of his comment on the recent shooting and he did not want his opinion to connect back to his job.  I believe the firing was legal because civil rights worker have the ability to search peoples comments and pages to look for causation for their actions.  Digital Footprint is the path you leave with your posts, comments, and reply's on your social media accounts. These are never truly deleted and can always be brought back.  The things on Facebook and Twitter are never private. Somebody always has a way to log into your account and see what you are posting and have posted in the past. That is why you must always be smart with what you save, post, and send. ...
